Sage Capital Management Promotes Chris Mills to Chief Commercial Officer

Sage Capital Management has named Chris Mills as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), eight months after he joined the firm as Head of Digital Assets in May 2025.

Mills brings close to 20 years of experience in financial markets. He spent 18 years at the Bank of England and more than two years at JB Drax Honore before moving to Sage Capital Management.

Since joining, Mills has worked closely with CEO Nathan Sage on strategy, product work, liquidity distribution, and trade execution. In his new role, he will lead sales, marketing, and business development. Sales Director Jason Keogh will report to him.

Nathan Sage, CEO of Sage Capital Management, said Mills has made a strong impact since arriving, adding that his market knowledge and clear thinking have helped move the business forward. Sage said Mills will help guide the firm’s commercial direction as it continues to grow and support hedge funds, asset managers, trading firms, and brokerages.

Sage Capital Management focuses on giving institutional clients access to digital assets. Mills said his time at the firm has been rewarding, pointing to the company’s entrepreneurial culture, strong team, and clear goal of offering institutional clients safe, secure, efficient, and simple access to digital assets. He added that he’s excited to take on the expanded role as the firm scales its global offering.
