DB Investing Names Syed Ahmmed Chief Business Development Officer

Syed Ahmmed joins DB Investing as Chief Business Development Officer

DB Investing has appointed Syed Ahmmed as its new Chief Business Development Officer.

He joins the brokerage from OneRoyal, where he served as Regional Head of Business Development for Southeast Asia, the Indian subcontinent, and Oman.

In that role, Ahmmed helped drive strong growth in both client deposits and account numbers across those markets.

He first joined OneRoyal in 2022 as a Senior Business Development Manager. After a short move to Zara FX, he returned to OneRoyal just a few months later.

Earlier in his career, Ahmmed also worked with broker GMI in Malaysia.

DB Investing is headquartered in the UAE and holds a local license there. The broker also has entities in Mauritius and the Seychelles. In addition, it runs a regulated payments company in Canada.
